Material Master: New Fields on the Quality
Management Screen
Description
The following fields are new to the Quality Management screen in a material
master record:
Key of the catalog profile on which the
maintenance notification or quality notification is to be based. The catalog
profile defines from a functional standpoint the code groups that can be used
for a particular technical object.
- Material authorization group for QM activities
Restricts the access authorization of users to
material-related data in quality management.
Key that enables you as the customer in a supply
relationship to define your requirements of the vendor's QM system.
Effect on batch input
The new fields have been included in transfer structure BMMH1. The
sequential files already created together with the data to be transferred are
still supported. You should create any new files in the new format.
