New Authorization Objects for the MRP Profile and Forecast Profile

Description

For maintaining or displaying MRP and forecast profiles, there is a separate authorization object in each case. The two authorization objects are assigned to the object class Materials Management: Master Data and are called

• material master: MRP profile (technical name: M_MATE_DPR)

• material master: forecast profile (technical name: M_MATE_PPR)

Both objects also have a corresponding so-called "all" authorization (M_DISPR_All and M_PROPR_ALL respectively). These authorizations are assigned to profile M_MATE_ALL which contains all material master authorizations.

As sole authorization field, the two authorization objects each have the field Activity category , in which you may enter the following values:
01 User may create data.
02 User may change data.
03 User may display data.
06 User may delete data.

Note: The previous authorization check for the MRP profile and forecast profile, which was made to ensure that the user is also authorized to change material master data in the MRP and Forecasting views, remains.

System administration changes

Please ensure that users, who are to maintain or display MRP or forecast profiles, receive the corresponding new authorizations for doing so.
