Key Figures

Key figures are individual values and quantities relevant to certain evaluations. They are also values and quantities calculated according to formulas you define.

A key figure could be:

a value: a financial statement item such as sales revenue

a quantity: number of employees

a calculation: Using the financial statement item and the number of employees, you can calculate the sales to employees ratio.

You use key figures when defining forms. Examples can be found in Appendix: Sample Reports for the General Ledger Information System
