Copying Report Group Variants from Other Clients 

You can use the Copy var. frm client function to copy report group selection variants between different clients in the same system. A selection variant is a group of selection criteria values that have been saved for a report group when the report group was executed.

Procedure

  1. On the Execute Report Group: Initial Screen, choose Utilities ® Variant maintenance ® Copy var. frm client.

    2. The Copy Report Group Variants from Client screen appears.

  2. Enter the following data:

    3. – Source client from which you want to copy the variant(s)

    – Report group(s) and or library(ies) to determine which variants are copied to the client in which you are working

    If you enter both several report groups and libraries, the system selects only those report groups that use the specified libraries.

  3. Choose Program ® Execute.

The system copies the variants that meet the selection criteria from the source client to the client in which you are working.
