Displaying and Deleting Non-Used Variables 

You can use the Utilities ® Non-used variables function to see if variables are not being used in your system. You can then delete the variables, if required. You can use this function from the Create/Display/Change/Delete Variable screens.

Procedure

  1. Choose Utilities ® Non-used variables.
  2. The Non-Used Variables screen appears.

  3. Enter data as required.
  4. The data you enter determines the data that is selected for display.

  5. Choose Program ® Execute.
  6. Variables that are not being used in the system are listed by variable name and variable description.

  7. You can use the following additional processing functions on the Non-Used Variables screen.

Variables ® Print

Print the list of non-used variables.

Edit ® Display variable

Display the variable on which the cursor is positioned. The system branches to the Display Variable transaction.

Edit ® Select all

Select all variables in the list for further processing.

Edit ® Deselect all

Deselect all the selected variables.

Edit ® Delete variables

Delete the selected variable(s).
