Changing Variables 

  1. On the Report Painter screen, choose Report Writer ® Variable ® Change.

    2. The Change Variable: Initial Screen appears.

  2. In the Variable field, enter the name of the variable you want to change.
  3. Choose Basic data.

    4. The Change <Variable Type> Variable: Basic Data screen appears for the variable type you entered.

  4. Change the current values as needed.

    5. You cannot change the name of an existing variable.

  5. To save the changes to the variable, choose Variable ® Save.
