Displaying Variables 

  1. On the Report Painter screen, choose Report Writer ® Variable ® Display.

    2. The Display Variable: Initial Screen appears for the variable type you entered.

  2. In the Variable field, enter the name of the variable you want to display.
  3. Choose Basic data.

The Display <Variable Type> Variable: Basic Data screen appears.

Displaying Where a Variable Is Used

To view a list of the sets and reports that use a variable on the Display/Change/Delete Variable screens:

Choose Extras ® Usage.

A dialog box appears, listing the sets and reports that use the variable.
