Entering Value and Formula Variables in a Set 

  1. On the Create Set: Basic Entries screen, move the cursor to the line and field where you want to enter the variable.
  2. Choose Edit ® Variable.

    3. A dialog box appears, asking you to enter the name of the variable.

  3. Enter the name of the variable.

    4. The variable must use a dimension that is compatible with the dimension of the basic set you are creating or changing.

    From the dialog box, you can create the variable if it does not yet exist. You can also change and display an existing variable. The system then branches to the respective transaction.

  4. Choose Continue.

    5. The Create Set: Basic Entries screen appears, displaying the variable in the set line you selected.

  5. To save the set, choose Set ® Save.
