for Maintaining Operating Concerns 
Use
The initial screen for maintaining operating concerns (Customizing for Profitability Analysis, under Structures -> Define Operating Concern -> Maintain Operating Concern) has been re-organized. The subobjects Attributes, Data structures and Environment are now maintained in three tab pages that also display status information.
The concept "Generate" is no longer used together with the concept "Activate", which is now used on its own in all subobjects of the operating concern, including the environment. The functions that are available for activating the environment are the same as those previously available for generating it.
The cross-client part of the environment was previously only generated automatically when the operating concern was accessed, thereby causing waiting times and possibly even error statuses when you performed transactions productively. You can now activate (generate) the cross-client part of the environment from the tab page Environment . If activation has not taken place by the time the operating concern is accessed, then activation occurs automatically as before.
