Changes to the
IMG Structure in Profitability Analysis
Use
The IMG structure in Profitability Analysis has
undergone the following changes since Release 4.6B:
Master Data -> Valuation -> Set
Up Valuation Using Material Cost Estimate
The following changes were made under this
node:
- The activity "'Define Keys for Accessing
Material Cost Estimates" has been renamed "Define Access to Standard Cost
Estimate".
- The new activity "Define Access to Actual
Costing/Material Ledger" has been added.
Planning
The following changes were made under this
node:
- The new node "Planning Framework" has been
added. The activity "Prepare Initial Planning Screen" has been renamed "Set Up
Planning Framework" and moved to this new node, together with the node "Aids
for Changeover to the Initial Planning Screen" (and the activities under this
node), which has been renamed "Aids for Changeover to the Planning Framework".
Previously, they both belonged to the former node "Manual
Planning".
- The "Manual Planning" node has been renamed
"Manual Entry of Planning Data".
- The "Automatic Planning" node has been
deleted. Its subordinate node "Calculated Values as Reference for Top-Down
Distribution" has been added under the "Planning Aids" node.
- Under the "Planning Aids" node, the activity
"Maintain Plan Structure" has been deleted and the activity "Customer
Enhancements for Planning Functions" has been renamed "Create Exit Number for
Customer Enhancement".
Infomation System
The following changes were made under this
node:
- The "Define Operating Concern" node has been
deleted. The subordinate activity "Create Profitability Report" has been moved
up a level, and the activity "Define Headers and Footers for Basic Reports"
has been moved to beneath the "Report Components" node.
- The new "Define Forms" node has been created
under the "Report Components" node. The activities "Define Forms for
Profitability Reports" and "Define Forms for Reports Based on Line Items" have
been placed under this new node.
- It was possible to delete the "Line Item
Analyses" node for the following reasons:
- The activity "Define Line Item Layout" is
obsolete in Release 4.6C (as is the "Line Item List" node).
- The activity "Create Reports Based on Line
Items" has been moved up to the same level as the activity "Create
Profitability Report" (see above).
- The activity "Define Forms For Reports Based
on Line Items" has been moved to "Report Components -> Define Forms" (see
above).
- The node "Assign Reports/Report Selection to
Activity Groups" has been renamed '"Assign Reports/Report Selection to
Role".
Tools
The following changes were made under this
node:
- The new activity "Simulation of Document
Transfer from Incoming Sales Orders" has been added under the "Analysis"
node.
- Under the node "Data Transfers Between CO-PA
and Other Systems -> CO-PA External Data Transfer", the Basis activities
relating to the new node "Platform-Independent File Name Allocation'" have
been placed beneath that node.
- Under the "Authorization Management" node, the
activity "Create Activity Group/Profile and Assign Users" has been renamed
'"Create Role/Autorization Profile and Assign Users".
