Creating a New Plan Version

Use

You create your own plan version to execute this script. In this way, you can make sure that no other person is working with the same version concurrently.

Procedure

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

    Accounting ® Controlling ® Profitability Analysis ® Planning ® Current Settings ® Maintain Plan Version

    Transaction Code

  3. Scroll down in the plan version window using the scroll bar on the right side of the window until you reach version 110.
  4. Select version 110.
  5. Choose .
  6. Specify the new plan version number and description.
  7. Do not change any of the other default parameters. Note the new plan version number.

  8. Choose .
  9. A dialog box might appear where you need to specify the controlling area for which this version is valid. Then enter the following data:

  10. Select the new version, then choose (Choose level) à Settings in Operating Concern.
  11. If you are performing a profitability analysis transaction for the first time since logging on, the system might ask you to specify the operating concern. If so, enter the following data:

    Choose .

  12. In the dialog box, choose Yes.
  13. The system copies the version attributes from version 110 and displays them as default values.

  14. Choose .
  15. If the Transport and Correction system is activated in the R/3 System, you have to enter a request number or create a new request number. Choose . Enter a short description, then choose .

  16. In the dialog box, choose .
  17. You have completed the creation of a new CO-PA plan version.

  18. Choose until the overview tree appears.
