This field determines the days on which the material is planned and ordered. If a vendor always delivers a material on a certain weekday, it makes sense to use the same cycle (adjusted by the delivery time) to plan the material. The planning cycle is a required entry if you choose time-phased materials planning as the MRP type. (Compare Release note on time-phased materials planning.)

Key used by the system to adapt the order proposal quantity to deliverable units. You can specify a rounding profile as an alternative to a reorder quantity rounding value, but not both at the same time. The profile is defined in Customizing.
