Assigning Field Sets for Downloads (Table TCID)
Use
In this table, you assign a field set name ("Set name") to a field, or group of fields. These field sets are used for the download processes (i.e. the processes where data is sent from the SAP System to AutoCAD).
Procedure
Transaction code: OD58
You can specify which information you want to receive when you start a function in the SAP system. You can copy data from client 000 – this will mean that you do not have to define all the table contents manually.
The table contains the following columns:
Column |
Column Contents |
Set name |
A name from table TCIM ("Set name") with direction "D". |
PosN |
Determines the sequence within the set in which the fields are sent by the SAP system when the assigned functions (TCIM) are executed. |
Field name |
The local field name is used for further processing in the external application. The field name entered here will not be checked by the SAP system. This field name can be used when making configuration settings in AutoCAD. The default values entered in AutoCAD during the installation of the AutoCAD-SAP interface come from this column or table TCIU. |
DB field name |
Name of the SAP database field that is to be transferred at this point of the field set specified. The SAP database field corresponds with the local field name specified. The set name belonging to it references a process and a subprocess. Using a selection list, you can determine all the fields that are to be sent to AutoCAD in this specific process. If you add new table entries for a process in this way (or if you remove existing entries), you must also specify a field name, and add (or remove) the corresponding field name later when you configure AutoCAD. |
Field length |
Field length that the SAP interface sends to AutoCAD. If you do not enter a value here, the value specified for the "database length" is used. |
Database length |
Length of the SAP field in question in the SAP database. |
Description |
You can describe the function of the field in more detail here. |
