Material Requirements: Comparison of MRP List and
Stock/Requirements List
Description
The MRP list displays the results of the last planning run. Changes that
have occurred between planning runs are ignored in the MRP list.
Contrary to this logic, in the stock/requirements list, all current stock,
receipt, and issue changes are displayed.
If you want to compare the MRP list with the stock/requirements list, you
can do this using the compare functions. This means that you can compare the
situation at the time of the last planning run with the current
stock/requirement situation.
You can access the comparison from the following applications:
- From the MRP list:
To do this, select Goto -> Compare
stock/reqmts.
You then branch into the comparison of the
'Comparison of MRP List and Stock/Requirements List'.
In screen section 'Comparison', the systen
displays the date on which the last planning run was carried out.
In the screen section, 'Period totals: MRP list'
the system displays the planning result according to the period totals. The
lines in which the data of the MRP list differ from the data in the
stock/reqmts list are highlighted.
- To branch into the totals display of the stock/requirements list, select
the pushbutton, Display stock/reqmts.

comparing the MRP list and the stock/requirements list, select the pushbutton
