Checking Requirements Using MRP 

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

  3. Enter the following data:

  5. Choose .
  6. The sales order and production order are displayed as separate planning segments (sales order stock, sales order, and production order).

  7. Choose in front of your production order (PrdOrd).
  8. A dialog box appears.

  9. Write down the order number and choose .
  10. Choose .
  11. The system displays the assigned sales order in the Sales order section.

  12. To analyze the operations schedule, choose Goto ® Graphic ® Gantt chart.
  13. Choose .
  14. In the dialog box, choose Yes.
  15. To display the current order status, choose .
  16. Choose .
  17. To check the availability of the material, choose Material.
  18. If all materials are available, continue with step 22. If some of the materials are not available, the Availability Check dialog box appears.

  19. Choose Missing parts list.
  20. Select the missing parts item displayed, write down the material number, and choose Check availability.
  21. Choose ATP quantities.
  22. You see that sufficient quantities of the material are available at another storage location.

  23. Choose until you get back to the Production Order: Header screen.
  24. Choose .
  25. In the overview, select the item for the material of your missing parts.
  26. Enter the following data:

  28. Choose .
  29. Choose Materials again.
  30. The system confirms that all materials are available.

  31. To release the order, choose .
  32. Choose .
  33. Write down the number of the last operation.
  34. Choose and write down the order number.
  35. Choose .
