    The dependent requirement generated by the assembly 400-100 (originally 37 pieces) clears the stock without creating a purchase order. The remaining requirement (27 pieces) is redirected to the follow-up material 400-111.

    Exception message "57" reads "Disc. matl. Partly replaced by follow-up."

    Now check the follow-up material.

    6. You can see that a planned order has been created for the remaining 27 pieces. The dependent requirement for the second planned independent requirement is displayed only for this material.

    Now check the higher-level assembly.

  8. Position the cursor on the first planned order (PlOrd.) created by MRP:
