Changes in Funds Center Maintenance for Release 3.0

Description

For Release 3.0A, the following additions and changes have been made to funds center maintenance:

As of Release 3.0A, it is possible to also define hierarchies via individual maintenance by directly specifying the respective higher-level center when creating funds centers.
To do this, go to the commitment accounting menu and choose Master data -> Funds center -> Indiv.maintenance -> Create/change/display.
It is possible to maintain an address and communication data for each funds center. For more information, refer to the release note
You can enter a long text for each funds center. To do this, from the basic screen of funds center maintenance choose Edit -> Long text.
You can branch to the status management from the basic screen of funds center maintenance. To do this, choose Extras -> Status management. For more information, refer to the release note
It is possible to display a change history for each funds center. To do this, from the basic screen of funds center maintenance choose Extras -> Change history.
You can display change documents display for each funds center or for certain fields of the funds center. To do this, the path Environment -> Change documents in the basic screen for the maintenance of funds centers.
You can assign authorizations for accessing certain funds centers. For more information, refer to the release note "Authorization Check".

Further notes

Since development had not been completed when this 3.0A release note was written, not all of the function changes and enhancements could be taken into account or described in detail. Therefore a complete description will only be possible for 3.0B.
