'Detail' now also available for Tax Calculation w/o Jurisdiction Code

Description

The menu option 'Detail' is now also active in the tax entry screen for tax calculation without jurisdiction code. It can be used effectively if several tax line items are created with the help of a tax code. This is the case, for example, for partially nondeductible tax, for Canadian tax processing (GST/PST) or for other additional taxes.

Changes in procedure

The total amounts per tax code entered in the tax screen are broken down on the detail screen into the individual tax portions. There the detail amounts can then be changed.

To be able to distinguish the individual lines, the condition type of the line is also displayed on the detail screen in addition to the tax code (see definition of the tax codes). If the user changed the taxes in the detail screen once, the detail screen is always immediately displayed with subsequent callups of tax data. A return to the total amounts per tax codes is no longer possible. In addition, the condition type must always be specified when entering tax codes not yet available. Thus, it is recommended to make a change of the partial amounts only at the end of document entry.

Further notes

This function is not possible when entering recurring entry original documents.

The functions 'Calculate taxes' and 'Detail' are not possible together.
