So far, texts for master data could be up to 20 characters long. With Release 3.0, a text up to 40 characters long can be managed additionally and displayed in reporting. For characteristics, for which check tables are generated by SAP-EIS, an additional text field, that can be filled by means of the master data transfer or manually, is created in the text table.
