Determine internal number assignment

In this step, you can assign a number interval to protect the libraries, report groups and variables in the Logistics Information System from being overwritten when importing from other clients or systems.

For libraries, you must in each case maintain the last two positions of the library name in the From-To interval. The first position is always a value of "2" internally (number for customer-specific objects). For the report groups, you must maintain the last three positions of the From-To interval and the last four positions for the variables.

You must do the number assignment separately in each client . This prevents objects with the same name from being created in different clients.

The fields Update library, Update auth. grp and Update var. no. display the current counter reading.

If you have reached the maximum of a number interval (99) during the number assignment, you can reset the counter readings.

Note

The keys are checked only when creating.
