Creating a New Notification Type 

Use

In Customizing, you create a new notification type.

Procedure

  1. Use the following procedure to call the transaction:

  2. Choose SAP Reference IMG.
  3. Choose Plant Maintenance and Customer Service ® Maintenance and Service Processing ® Maintenance and Service Notifications ® Notification Creation ® Notification Types.
  4. Choose Define Notification Types.
  5. Choose New Entries.
  6. Enter the following data:

    The notification number is issued by the system when you call up the Create function, not when you save your entries.
