Make-to-Order Without Assembly Processing
If the make-to-order items are not to be assembled till a later point in time and, therefore, the availability situation at the time of order entry is not so critical, you can perform make-to-order without using assembly processing.
In this case, the availability check, delivery date determination and costing are all performed after order entry.
Using a Project Without Assembly Processing
If you do not need accurate information on material availability, schedules or costs at the time you create a sales order, you do not have to use assembly processing to use the Project System.
You can still assign a sales order, such as a sales order, when you create a network. The following applies:
