Budget Versions
Description
You can carry out budgeting in several versions for 3.0A.
You can:
- create several versions (cross FM area)
- delete budget data in a particular FM area
- lock versions:
- for a particular fund, or for several
- for the current budget or the releases
- release versions again
- copy versions
Here you can choose:
- which budget values are to be copied from the
reference version to the target version: annual values or overall values
- which fund(s) you want to copy
- which budgets are to be copied: the current
budget, the releases, individual budget types (original budget, supplement,
return, transfer posting)
- whether different budget types in the target
version are to be grouped together in the original budget
If you want to create, lock, delete, or copy budget versions, choose the
path Budgeting -> Versions in the Commitment
Accounting application menu.
You can assign authorizations for accessing certain budget versions. For more information, read the release note "Authorization Check".
Change system parameters in customizing
You can also create budget versions in the Commitment Accounting configuration menu. To do this, choose the path Budgeting -> Versions.
