WM: Multiple Processing - Delivery Selection

Description

The selection of deliveries for multiple processing was enhanced as follows for Release 3.0:

1. In the transaction

Delivery Preparation for Multiple Processing, you can now select deliveries linked to an SD group. To do this, you must specify the required Grouped delivery number for which the deliveries should be selected on the initial screen.
The grouped delivery number is only used for selecting deliveries. The reference number is not linked to the group.

2. In the transaction Deliveries Due for Picking, you can create a link with a reference number from Warehouse Management via the function "Create group".

The Warehouse Management system creates both the group and a reference number. The grouped delivery number is used as the reference number if it fulfills the requirements of external number assignment. If not, the system assigns the reference number internally. The reference number is linked to the group.

If you delete or extend a delivery in the group via the transaction Change Group, the system checks to see whether this is allowed. The reference number is updated in parallel to the group.

Changes in procedure

To call up the transaction described in (1) above, select TransOrder -> Multiple processing -> For deliveries from the Warehouse Management menu.

To select the process described in (2) above, start the transaction Create SD Group
