Transport of Evaluation Structures and Evaluations

When creating self-defined evaluation structures and evaluations, you can include them in one transfer order. This will allow you to use the R/3 transfer system to transfer self-defined objects between various clients (client copy) as well as between various systems.

Notes on transporting

Evaluation structures and evaluations are not blocking objects in the sense of the transfer system. For that reason, transferring into another system (client) can overwrite already existing evaluation structures and evaluations.

To prevent this from happening you must ensure that none of the following objects exist in the target system (-client) with the same name:

Determine the names using transaction SE16 from table TMCSC (information structure = evaluation structure).
Define the names using transaction SE16 from the table T802G (table = evaluation structure).
The names are shown in the F4 Help for evaluation as "int.AuswNr".

Note

By setting the issue of internal numbers you can prevent libraries, variables and reporting groups from being generated with the same name in various systems (clients).

Caution

Evaluations can only be transferred if the internal set up of the under- lying evalution structures are identical in the source system (client) and target system (client).

This is only ensured if the evaluation structures were also transferred from the source system (client).

If in both systems (clients), evaluation structures for self-defined information structures ("ZF..." for customer structures "S..." for SAP structures) exist but which were generated in various systems, you should first delete the evaluation structure in the target system (client) and then transfer the evaluation structure and assigned evalaution together.

In contrast, with standard evaluation structures in the R/3 system, which are automatically generated (with the same name), you can assume that the internal structures in all systems (clients) are identical, such that evaluations can be transported independent of the evaluation structure upon which they are based.

You should, however, note that the evaluation structure must first be generated in the target system (or client), for example via Evaluation structure -> Display, before their evaluation(s) can be transported.

Note

After the transport, you can use the

mass generation function in the target system (client) to generate the evaluations.
