The Polish VAT invoice should contain:

• In the header: Tax ID numbers (NIP) of a buyer and seller and the tax date.
• In the item: SWW symbol for VAT rates lower than a basic VAT rate and the tax rate.

Therefore the standard printing program has been enhanced to fill the fields accordingly. No special printing program is necessary.

A special layout set for invoices is delivered for Poland: RVINVOICEPL.

A net calculation scheme RVAAPL is defined for Poland in the IMG including special rounding forms. Printing at item and sum level is made by an additional statistical condition, IDMW. The respective lines in RVAAPL are:

The IDMW line in step 906 yields the same values as step 905, but printing is prepared on item level (P = 'X') and 906 is statistical.

Faktura or Rachunek:

If you flag the field "Tax on Sls/Pur" in the customer master (window control data), the title "Faktura" is printed instead of "Rachunek" (Only a customer who is not registered as a Tax payer has to receive a „Rachunek").

- If an item is exempted from tax payment the tax rate has to be stated as ‚exempted‘.

Please set up the material tax classification in a way so that tax codes 'A9' and 'B9' are used for cases when ‚exempted‘ applies. Please use tax code 'A0' ONLY when the tax rate is 0.00% and not ‚exempted‘.

- Correctional invoices have to refer to a previous invoice. It is the only way allowed for credit/debit memos in Poland. Therefore, please make the reference to a previous billing document mandatory for sales order types 'CR' and 'DR'. The document flow will thus be:

If a different document flow is chosen for debit/cr. memos, the reference item will not be quoted properly.

The transaction date is not given in the layout set. If needed, incorporate it into the layout set, choosing the appropriate value from VBDKR structure. The field WADAT_IST_LF has been made available for this, but other standard fields may also suit an individual need.
