Transfer of
Remaining Leave to Absence Quotas 
Use
Currently, you can manage your employees' leave
entitlements using the Leave Entitlement infotype (0005) or the
Absence Quotas infotype (2006).
The Absence Quotas infotype (2006) offers more functions and more
flexibility for accruing, managing, and deducting leave entitlements than the
Leave Entitlement infotype (0005) does.
To simplify the conversion of leave records to absence quotas, the
Transfer Remaining Leave from Infotype 0005 to Infotype 2006 report
(RPTLEACONV) enables you to transfer your employees' remaining leave from the
Leave Entitlement infotype (0005) to absence quotas in the
Absence Quotas infotype. (2006).
SAP recommends that you manage your employees' leave entitlements using absence quotas in future. Although the Leave Entitlement infotype (0005) will continue to be delivered, it will not be developed any further. The Customizing activities for Managing Leave Using Infotype 0005 will no longer be available as of the next release.
To access the RPTLEACONV report from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose SAP Standard Menu -> Human Resources -> Time Management -> Administration -> Tools -> Tools Selection -> Attendance/Absence -> Transfer Remaining Leave from Infotype 0005 to Infotype 2006.
Effects on Customizing
Before the RPTLEACONV report can correctly
transfer remaining leave records from the Leave Entitlement infotype
(0005) to quotas, you must make some settings in Customizing.
