Posting of Multi-Level Jurisdiction Codes

Use

In Accounting it has been possible to process multi-level jurisdiction codes correctly since Release 4.6A. This is, for example, a prerequisite for the usage of the 'exact tax calculation method' in Canada.

With the current release multi-level jurisdiction codes can also be processed in Travel Expenses and correctly transferred to Accounting. Thus, for example, for Canada, the tax indicators for Accounting can also be used in Travel Expenses.

For the usage of the 'flat tax calculation method' in Canada, however, the SAP Notes 113646 and 137604 must still be used. With these SAP Notes you can simulate the two-level Canadian jurisdiction code with a single-level code. To do so, you still have to define separate tax indicators especially for Travel Expenses.
