Replenishment strategy

Definition

The replenishment strategy defines exactly how procurement in stock transfer is to be carried out.

You use the replenishment strategy to define the following, for example:

• Whether the stock transfer is to be carried out using a reservation, direct transfer posting or via the WM/PP interface

• Which movement type is to be used to post the goods receipt

Dependencies

You define the replenishment strategies in Customizing for KANBAN. You then assign the appropriate replenishment strategy to the control cycle.
