Define Price
Tables
Price table are special condition tables for
resource planning.
In a
condition table you specify the combination of fields for which
you can create
condition records.
Recommendation
You should not make any changes to the price
tables contained in the SAP standard. Instead, you should first copy them and
then make any changes to meet your requirements.
Standard
Settings
The following price tables are stored for
resource planning in the SAP standard:
- 132 Price per cost center
- 136 Price per controlling
area
- 137 Price per country /
region
- 138 Price per company code / business
area
- 139 Price per profit center
Activities
Check whether the control elements in the SAP
standard delivery meet your requirements. If this is not the case, proceed as
follows:
1. Define your
own
price tables based on the field catalog supplied by
SAP.
- The namespace of the user-defined price tables
begins with 501.
- You cannot change the field
catalog.
- Your user-defined price tables must begin with
the field combination of controlling area / version / resource. If you have
defined a table with other fields the system issues an error
message.
In this case, delete
the table and create a new one using the fields mentioned above.
- A price table cannot consist of more than ten
hierarchy levels (including the obligatory fixed fields controlling area /
version / resource).
2. Save your
entries.
