Release 4.5A enables the table-based calculation of contributions for
additional insurances. At present, the following types of insurance are supported:
For each type of insurance, you can define separate insurance contributions and maximum wages. As with the ALU/ALV supplements, for each insurance type, you can enter graded maximum wages and for each contribution level you can define separate contribution rates. Unlike the procedure with ALU, this procedure does not requrire the use of separate wage types for each individual contribution level. Instead, all levels are administered using one set of wage types.
Differentiation takes place using the C3-split; each contribution level is implemented by way of a wage type split. If, for example, your insurance consists of three contribution levels (wage up to 97,200 CHF, 97,201 to 500,000 CHF, over 500,000 CHF), the affected wage types are split three ways.
Insurance information is stored in the new payroll table CHVS (insurance Switzerland) in the payroll cluster RC.
Using the year-end statement for insurance (RPLVERC0), you can evaluate the insurance data (similar to the UVG year-end statement). You can find this year-end statement under Payroll for Switzerland -> Subsequent Activities -> Annual.
As a prerequisite for the introduction of the new function, you must have set up payroll units for voluntary accident insurance and/or for per diem sickness insurance. For further information, read the release information Payroll units.
If you have previously dealt with insurance information in infotype 0037, establish whether this could more effectively be dealt with using the new function.
The new function is particularly useful if the sums to be deducted, or the contribution rates are the same for a large number of employees. If so, you can group all the employees together in one payroll unit, thereby entering the insurance contribution once only in V_T5CS7 in accordance with the insurance grouping for the respective payroll unit.
You can, for example, deal easily with the deduction of a monthly contribution using infotype 37 by defining a precise contribution level for the application key KT, and by entering the monthly contribution for this contribution level.
In the IMG section
Settings for Social Insurance maintain, as required, in the the UEB and KT application keys the
settings for voluntary accident insurance and per diem sickness insurance respectively.
Make all the settings for your insurances as described in the IMG section
Insurance Switzerland
To activate the insurance for a payroll unit, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
Basic settings for social insurance there must be an entry for insurances (application key UEB and/or KT) which
corresponds with the SI grouping for the payroll unit. You can find a few examples of insurances in the view V_T5CS7; if you want to use these examples, you must adjust the view in line with client 000.
The example using application key UEB demonstrates how you can deal with a voluntary accident insurance for an employee in the wage grade over 97,200 CHF. The example also takes account of the fact that the standard functions already calculate the accident insurance required for up to 97,200 CHF under the AIL (Accident Insurance Law).
The employee contributions for the new insurance types are entered in wage types /447 and /477. In the standard system, these wage types are printed on the employee remuneration information with line type 23; the wage types have the specification 2C in processing class 02. You must make new entries in the view V_T512E for the specification 2C and for the new specification 2B; the new line types are defined in the view V_T512D. Adjust your customer form in the views V_T512E and V_T512D in accordance with the standard form CF01.
If, in addition to voluntary accident insurance and per diem sickness insurance, you want to use further insurance types
read the section
Integration of customer insurances and carry out all the steps described.
In the standard system, the employee insurance contributions are taken into consideration in the net-gross iteration. If you want to change this, read: Dealing with net wages
If you still want to work with infotype 37, the newly created year-end statement for insurance (RPLVERC0) also enables you to evaluate these insurances. All you have to do is flag the indicator on the selection screen for the report.
A prerequisite for this is a change in the personnel calculation rule CHAV ; if required, adjust your customer calculation rule in the rule CHAV in accordance with client 000.
Voluntary accident insurance wage types are grouped in wage type group UEB , and per diem sickness insurance are grouped in wage type group KT.
