Enhancements to Absence Valuation

Description

The following enhancements have been made in the area of absence valuation for Release 4.5A:

    1. Valuation of Absences With Quota Deduction
New developments for the accrual and management of time off entitlements have led to enhancements to the existing functions for absence valuation.
When maintaining leave in the Leave Entitlement infotype, you could previously take account of the leave type of a deducted leave quota for evaluating an absence. As of Release 4.5A, you can valuate absences that deduct from absence quotas (infotype 2006) according to different criteria than those used for other absences.
You can use Customizing tables to represent the following business requirements:
      a) Valuating an absence according to the deducted absence quota
      b) Valuating an absence according to the valid from date of a deducted absence quota
    2. Off-Cycle Absence Valuation
This new function only applies to countries who run an off-cycle payroll:
In an off-cycle payroll run, you can run a payroll in which only an employee's absence times are paid in advance. In this case, you set up special absence valuation rules for the off-cycle payroll run. The most common instances will be for absences such as leave or additional time off entitlements.
