Internet Application Components in Time Management
Description
Employees can use Internet Application Components (IACs) to enter and
access their personal time data. Until now, the Internet Time Statement IAC was used for this purpose.
The following IACs are available in Release 4.5A for Time Management:
- Internet Shift Plan
Employees can use this IAC to display their personal shift plan. This
means that they have permanent access to the latest shift plan.
- Internet Leave Balances
Employees can use this IAC to display their leave balances. This means
that they have a permanent overview of the current status of their time off entitlements.
- Absence Notification in the Internet
Employees can use this IAC to request leave or to find out the status of their leave balance.
- Internet Time Sheet
For information on entering working times in the Internet, see
Internet Time Sheet.
- Internet Time Statement
Employees can use this IAC to display a complete overview of their time
data and the results of valuation. This allows employees to check
whether their overtime has been calculated correctly and which bonuses
were determined, for example. If you use this IAC, you no longer need
to print and send the time statement on a monthly basis. The full range
of functions of the time statement form can be used to design the layout of the overview.
Software/hardware requirements
To be able to use IACs, the SAP@WebStudio and the SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) must be installed.
