Enhanced Person Selection for Managing Employee Time Data 

Description

Until now, you could only select one employee at a time in the person selection for the Time Management pool and the quota overview.

The person selection has been made more flexible for Release 4.5A. You can now select several employees according to their master data and organizational data, in addition to the name or personnel number.

The selection criteria are not limited to the data from the Organizational Assignment infotype (0001). You can also use data from additional infotypes.

You can use the following functions for person selection:

• If you want to select a specific pool of employees, you can combine master data and organizational data as the selection criteria.

• If you want to call up employees from the person selection individually, you can use a scroll function.

• You can save the specified selection criteria as a user-specific selection variant.

• The selection variant defined and saved for the Time Management pool or the quota overview can be used in both functions.

• If you carry out evaluation reports in a transaction, they access the corresponding person selection.

You can use the person selection in the following functions:

• Maintaining the shift plan (transaction PP61)

• The Time Management pool (transaction PT40)

• The quota overview (transaction PT50)
