This report is a warehouse activity monitor report that determines all negative stocks for the warehouse number specified that have existed longer than a specific (critical) duration.
You can define the critical duration for each combination of warehouse number and storage type in Customizing. If you do not specify a critical duration for a specific combination of warehouse number and storage type, the report will not determine critical negative stocks for this combination.
In the Customizing application, you can limit the monitoring of negative stocks for a specific warehouse number and storage type combination to stocks in dynamic storage bins. In this case, the report will not select negative bin stocks in bins that are not dynamic.
You should execute this report as part of a batch job that is run at fixed intervals (for example, once or twice a day). This report is also called up by the warehouse activity monitor (transaction LL01, Warehouse Management screen: Environment -> Warehouse activity monitor), if you are on the warehouse activity monitor overview screen, place your cursor on the Negative stocks object, and choose Edit -> Determine data again.
The system will only determine critical negative stocks for a warehouse number if you have activated the Negative stocks object in Customizing for the warehouse number entered on the report selection screen.
The report will store all determined critical negative stocks in database table LL05. All negative bin stocks contained in this table will be displayed as critical negative stocks by the warehouse activity monitor (transaction LL01) if they still exist at the time the warehouse activity monitor is called up.
