Define Individual Signatures

In this IMG activity, you define digital signatures that must be executed by users of a specific authorization group.

You can then use the individual signatures as part of a signature strategy that is used to approve a batch record.
If you only use one signature without signature strategy to approve batch records in your company, you need not define indvidual signatures.

Example

In your company, production and quality assurance must approve the batch record. You define the following individual signatures:

• S1 with authorization group production

• S2 with authorization group quality assurance

Individual signatures are also valid in other areas that use the digital signature. Before changing individual signatures or using them for your requirements, make sure that there is no clash of interests with other areas.
