Simultaneous Costing

Here you carry out steps that affect simultaneous costing:

This step is only relevant in repetitive manufacturing environments. You specify control settings such as whether reporting point backflushes can be entered for a production version and which cost estimate is used as the basis for defaulting the activity quantities to be confirmed.
This step is only relevant in repetitive manufacturing environments. It has no direct influence on Cost Object Controlling. The cost log enables you to analyze errors in activity allocations caused by confirmations.
This step is only relevant for semifinished and finished materials whose price control indicator is set to V.

Further Notes

You make the settings for valuation of the materials, activity types, and business processes used in your actual data in the step Product Cost Collectors and under Cost Object Hierarchies if applicable.
