Maintain
Template
In the following step you maintain
templates.
Applications
Every application of a template requires a
special environment. Before creating a template, choose an
environment. It determines which row and column types are
available for your use.
The following applications are
possible:
- Template-Allocation to cost objects or
application in the plan calculation from cost objects and materials
(environments 001 - 012)
- Template-Allocation to business process, cost
center or cost center/ activity type (environments SBP, SCI, SCD)
- Template-Allocation to profitability segment
(environment PAC)
- Formula planning (environments CPI, CPD, BPP,
PCA)
- Calculating output quantities (environment
SOP)
- Easy Cost Planning/Internal Service Order
(environment 200 - 299)
Structure
A template consists of rows (items) and
columns. The row and column types available to you depends on the environment
chosen.
Columns available include:
- "Type" of item: for example, process,
subtemplate, calculation row
- "Object: for example, name of the process,
cost element subtemplate or calc. row
- "Quantity" (Actual/Plan): for example, process
quantity, stat. key fig.
- "Activation" (Actual/Plan)
- "Allocation time period" (Template for cost
objects)
Activities
To maintain a template, you must edit the
initial and overview screens, from which you can branch out into various
editors.
Initial screen
1. Enter the
name of the template that you want to create or edit.
2. Enter the
environment of the template.
3. Choose
Goto -> Overview.
Overview screen
1. Give a new
template a descriptive name.
2. Choose the
type of item.
3. Give the
item a descriptive name.
4. Edit the
other columns. Use the mouse or the tab key to reach the individual columns.
By double clicking you can reach the:
a)
Selections
b)
Quantities
c) Activation
editor
d) Calculation
period in the chosen function (template for cost object).
5. After
creating or maintaining all rows, choose
Enter.
6. Then choose
Template -> Save.
