The field "Valuation view" can contain the following values:
" " for line items
representing the legal viewpoint
"P" for line items representing the profit center
viewpoint
All entries in the assignment table for which the field "Valuation view" contains " " ("Legal valuation view") refer to CO-PA line items that were created during the "standard" update in CO-PA.
All entries in the assignment table for which the field "Valuation view" contains "P" ("Profit center valuation view") refer to CO-PA line items that were created for profit center analysis based on transfer prices.
In the attributes of your operating concern and in CO-PA Customizing, you can specify whether you want to see values in CO-PA using profit center valuation in addition to the standard legal valuation.
In valuation using material cost estimates, you can only obtain your legal valuation by using a costing key that references a costing variant with a costing type that stores values according to either legal valuation or group valuation.
For profit center valuation, you can only use a costing key that references a costing variant whose costing type was defined for the valuation view "profit center valuation" in Product Cost Planning.
