Maintain Document Types for Funds Commitment

In this IMG activity, you maintain document types for funds commitment to classify the documents in Controlling. You can specify characteristics for every document type. These characteristics control the entries for the document or are themselves noted in the document.

For controlling, document type "CO" and field status group "G003" are allowed for in the standard. The field status group defines which fields are ready for input when you post documents in your controlling area. It defines which fields you need to fill and which are to be hidden.

Make the following entries:

• Number range interval

• If you wish to archive the posted documents, enter a residence time for each document type.

• If required, you can specify which field contents should be transferred from the reference document.

Requirements

You need to define the number range interval in the IMG activity " Define Number Ranges for Funds Commitment ".

Notes

The Workflow is not supported by Controlling.
