Copy Hazardous
Material Data from Substance Database
Description
In this IMG activity, you assign
characteristics from the substance database to the WM hazardous material table
(database table "MGEF") and make the required settings.
Requirements
You must use the substance database.
Activities
1. Using
activity Conversion of phrases in hazardous material table
(WM) , define the relationship between characteristics and the
hazardous material table fields.
Inview Value conversion you can then assign a field value to
each phrase value.
2. Select the
environmentally relevant data to be converted from the substance database. You
can mark one or several records and initiate automatic import from the
substance database for these records.
Note: For this activity, you require the authorization for transaction
VM04 . Authorization for this transaction should only be
granted for Customizing activities, and the transaction should not be used in
the application.

- if the data from the substance database is
properly converted in the application table
- if the data from the substance database was
properly imported into the application table
- if all non-defined phrases, phrase values,
sucessfully imported substances, and so on, are properly logged
