In this step, you can permit the individual order types for investment processing.
Investment orders are generally settled on an asset under construction. These assets under construction are generated automatically when the order is released. You can generate these assets manually using a function key on the investment data screen for the order.
If you still want to settle an investment order to other receivers, you can enter a cost center or other costs receivers as settlement receivers.
Generally, this business process involves a special form of Plant Maintenance, which is treated differently to preventive maintenance, repair or inspection orders, for planning, time or cost reasons.
You can use this setting to define that this business process can also only be produced using specific order types.
Note that only order types, which represent neither service nor refurbishment orders , can be permitted for investment processing.
