Define Reclassification Rules

In this step, you define the types of reclassification rules that you want to use in HR Funds and Position Management. To do this, you define one or more subtypes for the Reclassification Rule infotype (1506).

Example

In HR Funds and Position Management, you want to use the reclassification rule "Reclassify when free". In this case, you define subtype 9001 (with the above-mentioned text) for the Reclassification Rule infotype (1506).

Activities

To define reclassification rules, proceed as follows:

1. Choose Position, and enter the infotype 1506.

2. Choose New entries.

3. In the Infotype field, enter 1506, and define a key for the subtype (9001, for example).

Note: The name range 9000 through 9999 should be used for customer-specific subtypes.

4. Enter a name for the subtype in the Subtype text field.

5. Choose Save.
