Define Budget
Updates
In this step, you define the various types of
budget updates to be used in HR Funds and Position Management. To do this, you
define one or more subtypes for the Budget Updates
infotype (1504).
Example
You want to use a budget update to increase the
budget of a budget structure element. To do this, you define subtype 0001 (
Supplement for the Budget
Updates infotype (1504).
Activities
To define budget updates, proceed as
follows:
1. Choose
Position, and enter the infotype
1504.
2. Choose
New entries.
3. In the
Infotype field, enter 1504, and
specify a key for the subtype in the
Subtype field (9001, for example).
Note: The name range 9000 through
9999 should be used for customer-specific subtypes.
1. In the
Subtype text field, enter a
name for the budget update.
2. Choose
Save.
3. Choose
Navigation -> Time constraint
4. Choose
New entries.
5. In the
Object type field, enter
BU.
6. In the
Infotype field, enter
1504.
7. In the
Subtype field, enter the key that you defined for
the subtype in step 3 above.
8. In the
Time constraint field, select a time
constraint for the budget update.
Note: You should only assign time constraint 3 to
the subtypes in HR Funds and Position Management.
9. Choose
Save.
