Define Names of Budget Units

In this step, you define the name for the budget unit Full-time equivalents.

This budget unit can be a unit of measure for budget structure element types in the Overall Budget component in HR Funds and Position Management.

You specify a short text and long text for the budget unit Full-time equivalents , which is available in the system. This is the name that will appear in the HR-FPM budget hierarchies.

Note:

The budget unit Full-time equivalents was developed specially for Germany. Consequently, it should only be used in Germany.

Example

In the standard system, the budget unit STA has the short text FTEand the long text Full-time equivalent .

You can change the short and long texts as you wish.

Activities

1. In the Unit field, enter a short text for the budget unit STA.

2. In the Unit name field, enter a long-text for the budget unit STA.

3. Choose Save.

Further Notes

Since the short and long texts appear on screen, you should ensure that the budget type STA has one of each. Otherwise, the output fields in question will remain empty.
