Define Dynamic Name of Pay Scale Group

In this step, you define how the names of pay scale groups are called up dynamically by feature PM001 Dynamic name of pay scale group on the maintenance screens of the Classification (Pay Scale) (1501) infotype for budgets structure elements with FTE budgets, and for positions.

This feature determines the pay scale group name used for classification on the basis of the employee group and employee subgroup (among others) to which a budget structure element or a position has been assigned.

Example

The pay scale group name proposed for the employee subgroup Civil servant is Pay group , and the pay scale group name proposed for the employee subgroup Salaried employee is Salary group .

Requirements

You must already have created employee groups and subgroups.

Activities

To tailor feature PM001 to your specific needs, proceed as follows:

1. Call up feature PM001.
The decision tree for feature PM001 appears.
2. Change the decision tree as required. Always refer to the documentation on the feature (Goto -> Documentation).
3. Choose Check.
4. Choose Generate.
5. Choose Save.
