According to SAP naming conventions, wage types names starting with a digit correspond to the customer range. Therefore, a clean-up task has been performed, to move these wage types '5xxx' and '6xxx' to the SAP standard wage type range.
As a result of this, the following actions have to be performed:
The following list of wage types are no longer used by SAP, being replaced
by the corresponding NEW wage types.

The naming convention for the new wage types is:
First letter:
- 'P' Group of wage types for 'Prestaciones' (and 'complementos')
Second letter:
- 'C' 'Complementos' wage type
- 'A' 'prestAciones' wage type
- 'D' 'prestaciones a mes Diferido' wage type (next month porcessing)
- 'X' auXiliary wage type
- 'V' 'prestaciones con Vacaciones' wage type (in case of vacation)
- 'Y' auxiliary in case of vacation
Third and four digits:
- 10 'ILT'
- 20 'AT y EP'
- 30 'Maternidad'
- 31 'Maternidad 1995'
- 40 'Prest. Oblig. Empresa'
IMPORTANT:
The following list contains the standard schemas and cycles affected by
this correction.
The corresponding updates to this schemas and cycles are included with the
new 3.0E release (or upgrade).
In order to identify the customer schemas and cycles where these wage tapes
are used with their old names, the standard utility RPDASC00 can be used. In
these schemas and cycles, the customer will have to replace the old names by
the corresponding new ones.
The use of theses wage-types thoughout the report RPCMSVE0 has to be
updated, replacing the old names by the new ones, according to the
table included in point 1.
4. Conversion of payroll results.
Finally, the payroll results stored in the database will have to be
processed, to replace the names of the old wage types by the new ones.
To perform this activity, the standard utility RPUCREE0 must be used.
This report performs this conversion automatically for payroll results in
cluster RE, with version number 01.
ATTENTION!
This is a critical operation. The contents of the data base file PCL2, containing the payroll results, should be saved, for safety reasons, BEFORE starting this conversion.
