Maternity pay retroactive payroll calculation

Description

Because SMP/SSP calculation is split between the

running the payroll retractively can cause problems. Until now this has not been an issue as retroaction was not allowed.

However, following the decision of the European Court of Justice in the Gillespie case, it is now necessary to recalculate SMP in the case of a backdated pay rise.

From 3.0E onwards the necessary steps can be performed manually:

1. run RPCALCG0 if necessary
2. set personal calender status back to begin of MPP
3. run RPUSSPG0
4. set payroll status back to begin of MPP
5. run RPCALCG0

The SMP retro calculation report can be called instead of or after the payroll driver for the employee in question and will perform the five steps above.

Changes to the interface

The SMP retro calculation report is available in the payroll menu.

Planning

In future releases some of the SMP functionality will be transferred from RPUSSPG0 to RPCALCG0 so that normal retroaction will suffice. The SMP retro calculation report will then be obsolete.
