Weekly analyses are often carried out when overtime is calculated. A typical regulation is as follows:
"Overtime commences once 40 target hours have been worked in one week".
The term "week" can be very flexible in meaning. An overtime week can commence on different weekdays; for example, it is sometimes defined as the period from Friday 12 noon to Friday 12 noon, rather than starting at 12 midnight. It is also possible for different overtime weeks to be used at one company.
To simplify the customization of time evaluation for the evaluation of weekly overtime regulations, a number of enhancements have been made to the system.
If you require an explanation of how weekly overtime is calculated in time
evaluation schema TM04, please refer to the section
Calculate overtime according to weekly hours . A complete
description of overtime analyses in schema TM04 is included in the section

Weekly overtime calculations of the type described above are included, for example, in the US regulations of the 'Fair Labor Standard Act' (FLSA).
