As of Release 3.0E, in Succession Planning and preselected Succession Planning, you can show or hide the 'Restrictions' pushbutton (and its functionality).
If the parameter QUALI, KRITE is active (= 'X'), the pushbutton is shown and the functionality can be used. If the parameter is not active (= ' '), the pushbutton is hidden and you will not be able to get to the functionality.
Possible criteria to restrict your search for potential successors are: gender, denomination, nationality, marital status and disability.
